about therapy
People often think that therapy is where you go when you’re depressed, or anxious. But often, we’re like this because we’re living a smaller, less expressive life than we’d like.
My aim is well-being and mental health, but it's also growth and development, because you know you are brave enough to live a bigger life - with better relationships and more satisfaction.
I work with adults aged 16 and over.
I have over 9 years of experience, supporting people with
Childhood trauma
Illness
Aging
Caring
Grief
Abuse
Addiction
Neurodiversity
and other issues.
As an Accredited member of UKCP, Registered member of BACP and Accredited Psychotherapeutic member of GPTI , I work with their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.

about me
I'm Dawn, and as a curious therapist and perceptive person, I prioritize our therapeutic process.
I am passionate about stories in literature, art, film, comedy and community. I have supported many people who are struggling with, or feel stuck in their story - tell me yours.
My practice is centred around embodied awareness, which can feel different from other styles of counselling and I continue to develop my work in areas of play, power, difference and belonging.
I've worked with children and family groups in various settings and on a number of projects in support and development roles, using a therapeutic arts approach.
Wide open skies, solid ground and shifting waterways in our world bring me to life.
